5 things i have learnt from the photoshoot (on 17th and 18th of June):
- Use lots of lighting so that your pictures don't come out too dark
- Direct your models so that they look comfortable in the pictures
- Composition is important, when using two models, have them as close together as possible
- Make sure the camera is focused
- Leave enough space around the edges of the photo if doing a magazine to add headlines
What i like most about this image is the composition. It is powerful and intense and presents a strong black woman.
This image is quite striking as it shows both models of different races grinning. Connotes equality.
The wrinkled background is quite off putting in this picture but that can be fixed in photoshop. Other than that, this picture shows childhood innocence.
